Great little place

The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bar/restaurant has good reasonably priced food, rooms are cleaned upon request as well as towels changed. The airport shuttle bus passes right outside (airport 5mins - Santiago town 20 mins). Good value guest house.

A Concha No Gracias!

The only positive is that it is close to the airport and on the shuttle bus route. The room was very depressing, dingy and it had great damp patches. The bathroom was shared by several rooms. There was no furniture in the room not even a hook to hang a coat up on. It was noisy at night. The staff gave no information about breakfast, just pointed when asked (I speak fluent Spanish, so this wasn’t the problem). Basically they were rude and unfriendly. I wouldn’t return if it was the last place on earth.

AWFUL

Very rude people! Drop off pilgrims. Breakfast was paid for at the Dorotea guest house but was counted double in the cafeteria. Very rude answers. Laughing in our faces. Definitely to be avoided!

Okay stay for short walk into Santiago

Right on the Camino. Very basic reasonably clean private room but very dated and depressing. It’s upstairs at one end of the bar. Bed was uncomfortable and it was noisy - not from the bar but with people coming and going. Bar seems very popular with locals. Ate in bar and it was tasty. Breakfast included but left before breakfast served at 7:30.

An okay place to stop for quick refreshments.

Some staff were friendly some chose not to be. Nice touch was complimentary tapas dish with our coffee. Food looked pretty good too, not too expensive. A bit of English spoken but easy to communicate. We only used the cafe not the Hostal.
