Hello, the room was spacy, two beds, a desk one and a half meter long and a sofa. The bathroom had a rainshower that could be complemented with a vertical shower. A good breakfast with omelett to order. An inner plaza without roof. Three times a week two musicians performed music in the evening. In the evening you can be served dinner by friendly waitress Elizabeth. In the plaza the hotel cares for an alpaca. Here you will be very satisfied during your stay. /Sten.

Hotel Union worked well for my family of 4 before and after our Salkantay Trek. The location is great, the on-site restaurant had great food too. We really enjoyed the included breakfast. Kiki the resident alpaca was fun to watch.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Union Hotel Cusco was absolutely amazing helping us out with delayed flights and picking us up to come and settle into Cusco. A big highlight is Kiki the Alpaca with her Mom Veronica and teaching us all about making the wool for textiles and giving us a lesson ! Highly recommended!!!

It is a great joy to know that you participated in one of the included experiences we offer, such as the weaving classes with Verónica, Kiki´s mom our baby alpaca. So, you can learn to differentiate between fabrics made from sheep wool and alpaca wool, as well as learn the basic techniques of weaving and dyeing garments. Afterwards, you get to feed Kiki with the special diet we have for her.

Unfortunately, this hotel was one of the biggest disappointments of our trip to Peru.
The room was extremely small, much smaller than the photos suggested, with barely enough space for luggage. The bathroom was equally disappointing, with virtually no counter or sink space for toiletries, making it very inconvenient.
The beds were also very uncomfortable. The mattresses sagged in the middle, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep after long days of sightseeing.
Breakfast service was inconsistent. On multiple mornings, we had to get up ourselves to find utensils because none were provided at our table. On another morning, our breakfast was completely forgotten until we reminded the staff.
What made us the most uncomfortable was being asked to sign a waiver at check-in stating that if anything disappeared from our room, it would be our responsibility and not the hotel's. Regardless of the intent, it was not a welcoming first impression and immediately raised concerns.
While the building itself has charm and the location is convenient, the overall experience did not justify the price. Between the cramped room, uncomfortable beds, inconsistent breakfast service, and the liability waiver, I would not choose to stay here again.
