Very nice stay in this very nice hotel between sea and mountain.
Cairo. Sharm el sheikh . Nothing beats dahab (gold in French ) this village with a thousand colors where diving is paramount.
I stayed a month at the hotel blue residence dahab nestled between sea and mountain with views of the pool and mountains.
A hotel where everything is there: beauty of the city center, beautiful beaches nearby, a site well arranged for calm reigns.
Really impeccable service and exquisite cuisine. I want to highlight the unfailing dedication every day of Mr Georges who spoke French which helped me and his colleagues as well as all the staff of the establishment without forgetting the many cats and zika the hotel guard.
I really had wonderful times with them, they were all very kind. Another big thank you to Mr Georges the manager who knew during this stay to meet my needs very quickly whether for the operation of everything in the apartment and all that is visits , activities in the surroundings.
The apartments are very nice , clean and well arranged.
The pool is beautiful and clean. Cleaning of the apartments is on request. Towels are changed regularly. Everything is perfect.
Really recommend this hotel, it's worth it, everyone without exception showed friendliness, kindness and was incredibly helpful. A sincere thank you for my unforgettable stay. I would return without hesitation.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful!
The customer service was excellent, and the cleanliness was top notch.
The staff were very friendly and professional, which made me feel comfortable and at home.
I was so happy with my stay that I decided to extend it.
I highly recommend this hotel it truly deserves it!

My opinion of Blue residence is very mixed.
Communication before our stay was good, we requested a pool view room, which they agreed to and organised our transport from airport to hotel.
On arrival, late at night, we were directed straight to reception, had to sign an agreement of rules and regulations ( first time i've ever had to do that in a hotel) and pay the full amount for our 7 day stay. We were then shown to our room. As we entered we tripped over the loose door tile and was told "dont worry we'll fix that" It remains loose and a trip hazard.
B1 G3.Our promised pool view was non existent (completely obscured by a large gazebo) The accomodation was ok, pretty much what you would expect for a low cost Dahab residence, but the fridge was dirty, bedroom light hanging off the ceiing and you would be very hard pushed to "self cater" with the very limited contents of the kitchen.
We were only provided with 2 towels and had to repeatedly ask for toilet paper.
Our room was not serviced at all during our stay, and when we requested clean towels, they insisted we gave back the first two before we could be given any more. There was no bath mat and whilst we had a reasonable size balcony there was no furniture on the balconys to sit on.
The situation of Blue residence is good, just off the main road, close to the banks, a shop and an easy walk to Mashraba and the town. Music at the pool is very loud and you have to listen to what the bar staff like! No alcohol allowed on site.

Blue residence does have a pool bar but does not serve alcohol, infact they have a no alcohol on site policy.
Breakfast is the same everyday and rather uninspiring. Other food available to order from the bar is OK.
Music around the pool is the choice of the staff and played very loud ( even if there's only 1 or 2 guests there trying to relax,) The worst part of our stay was receiving a personal text from the manager accusing us of using drugs. When questioned what basis they had for the accusation, we were told staff had smelt drugs from our room. As no one had even been to our room, and as we don't even smoke, we couldn't understand the accusation and were offended by it. The manager seemed to think it was a joke. This left us feeling very uncomfortable.
We would not return to Blue residence.

Very good quality and value, the location is good, the staff are very helpful and friendly "special thanks for our friend Adam" and the rest of the team. The breakfast buffet is small but good enough. And their food and beverages are good.
