The place is on Elephantine island, you can only get there by ferry. The cost is minimal around $ .70 for a one way.
The island is way quieter than the mainland.
Make sure you are expected upon arrival, signage is limited.

A Very Welcoming Stay

Ahmed and Yousra were wonderful hosts. We were only here for a night, and wished we had more time. The room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was served with fresh vegetables right out of the garden at the foot of the second Crystala house. Staying on Elephantine Island was a great experience.

So difficult to find, no signs. We had advised of our late arrival and yet nobody was at the guesthouse. We had to wait for the help of a bypasser to help. When a lady finally came, she had not the key in her possession. It was a very chaotic organization

A small guest house with only 3 rooms as I saw. The room is new and very clean. Located on Elephantine island reaching by crossing the nile river with public ferry near KFC, a guesthouse just near by the pier. Owner is helpful. He helped me to find a driver for tour. When checkin you may need to call an owner to open the door.

This place has a rooftop restaurant that has an amazing view of the Nile. The room was fine, the food good, and overall a wonderful place to stay in Luxor.
