Nice and comfortable room, mine had both electric fan, a mini fridge and a nice big bathroom. The staff were nice and the food was good. I had a delicious dinner the first night. And the location was perfect with the U-bane and green park right next to it.
I would recommend this place!

Inappropriate photos.

The hotel was clean, and the bed and bathroom were okay. However, I did not feel comfortable in the room on the 3rd floor. There was even a woman tied to a bar hanging there. At least it seems that not all rooms are equipped like that.

Bad experience!

We had the 4th. Stick chosen, which of course requires some fitness, but was fine with us. Attention: there is no elevator. Okay with us. Unfortunately, the very spacious but absolutely charm-abandoned room had no view - small prison windows. Worn-out cheapest furniture, loose cables on TV, large bathroom with lime-clogged shower head. No desk. Already the flowers and the 3 trees in front of the entrance made a very sad welcome impression - withered, dried and littered with weeds. Totally neglected. This impression was then further confirmed at the hotel. Very unfriendly, succinct Eastern European staff at reception who probably still need training and were more busy with their mobile phones than with us as guests. Breakfast built on the bar counter, far below normal standard. The prepared fried eggs already dried at about 08.25 - for coffee was served sour milk, which was exchanged without a word of regret. We gave up on Feb. Day to breakfast. Despite the good location, a very negative experience. Never again for us.

No ac. No elevator. Service friendly. Rooms nice but quickly. Near English Garden. Peaceful retreat. Nice restaurant and bar.

Funny, nice hotel near Isar and Maximilianeum

This hotel is a treasure in contrast to the well-known hotel chains. Located near the Maximilianeum with direct access to the park area alongside river Isar, this hotel is not good for car drivers, but highly recommended to tourists offside the hotspots. The inner city is not very far away (20min walk, 10min by subway), and the hotel personnel is very friendly and supportive. I can really recommend the breakfast, did not try dinner though. The room which I got did not look like a stiff hotel room, but like a living room from 17-18th century, directly under the roof (see the photos!). Visitors should know beforehand that it can go up tro 4 floors, but no elevator available.
