perfect apartment

Readers should be aware that Coco runs several apartments, in differing locations. We rented the apartment on the 2. floor in Wahmstrasse 22. Check in is at the landlords shop in Wahmstrasse 53, so he is generally available all day.
This, a 2 bedroom apartment, was great. Spotless, clean, nice bedding and plenty of towels. It was winter and the apartment was heated and warm. Plenty of hot water and a nice bath.
Kitchen was well equiped and with everything incl. dishwasher, freezer, fridge, washing mashine, stove, microwave. A small balcony, only really fit to smoke on.
Furniture was retro/antique, but kitchen and bathroom were new and modern. Beds and sofabed were firm, but we found them comfortable.
Notice that one bedroom is only separated from the living room with glass doors, so the apartment is perfect for two couples or maybe two couples and two younger children, since there is no privacy between bedroom 1 and the living room with sofabed. Other bedroom was private.
It was quiet, except for Saturday night, when there was loud music and a party nearby, which stopped at 1am.
Location absolutely perfect, smack in the centre.
Great and very comfortable apartment, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Unlucky in Lübeck

I struggle to find anything positive to say about this hostelry and ground floor apartment. Travellers should note the following:
- no warm welcome or information on arrival
- furniture is tired and should be disposed of
- bedding is old and dirty
- decor is the colour of bile
- no bathroom toiletries provided
- freezer door of the fridge/freezer frozen solid
- curtain barley covers the window
It’s clear the owners of this establishment care nothing for their guests. I urge travellers to avoid.

Spacious, quiet ground floor level near historic sites

This is a large ground level room, really like a suite. Facing it from the street, there is a storefront on the left, a courtyard entry in the middle, and this room on the righthand side. There is a king size bed and armoire with a large window on the street side, but we were not bothered with noise. There is a tea kettle, cook top, microwave and refrigerator, also dishes, etc - so handy for breakfast and for restaurant leftovers, The bathroom is large with a walk in shower. There is also a wall tv in the sleeping area that picks up CNN. There are historic buildings all around. Nearby is a centuries old alms house which has been turned into flats for elderly. It is only a few blocks walk to the old Rathaus [town hall] and St Mary's Church. It is however quite a walk from the train station.

Een prima locatie voor een stedentripje

Een nette kamer met een klein keukentje en mooie badkamer. De kamer ligt op een goede locatie die op een loopafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden ligt, Ook een voordeel dat het op korte afstand van het centrum ligt.

Beh insomma ...

Posizione centrale, a pochi passi dal centro, ma stanze al primo piano affacciate sulla strada molto rumorose.... e molto calde. Non c’è aria condizionata ... perciò impossibile chiudere le finestre. Il fatto di avere due stanze è un comfort, ma l’appartamento in sè non vale la spesa...
