Out of the way B&B in beautiful farmland...

We stayed here in September 2016 for five nights... the location is a working farm, and is best found using GPS, though you can see the large "pension" sign from the main road, if you are looking for it... then two turns on dirt/gravel roads and you are there... the hosts were very nice, but knowing some German will help (one lady spoke English, but we managed fine... she was very helpful advising us about crossing into Austria)... breakfast was very good (one of the owners is a chef), and the room was great... is served us as a good central spot for day trips to Munich, Salzburg and Berchtesgaden, though I'd recommend finding a spot for dinner before you return to the area, as it is all farmland, and not many eating sites for miles... once there, you won't find a more peaceful spot... we had inner and outer keys, so could come and go as we wished without disturbing anyone, and you are far enough away from city lights that you can sit outside and see the stars of the Milky Way on a clear night...

Idealer Stützpunkt für Urlaub in Oberbayern

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal hier und hatten jedes Mal eine der Ferienwohnungen gebucht.
Die Ferienwohnung war geschmackvoll in einem bayrischen Stil aber nicht kitschig eingerichtet. Es gibt einen großen Wohnbereich mit Küche, Essplatz, Sofa und Fernseher, ein großes Elternschlafzimmer, ein Kinderzimmer und ein Bad. Die Ferienwohnung war gut eingerichtet, sauber und gepflegt.
Die Pension wird sehr familiär geführt. Die freundlichen Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und versuchen einem jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen.
Obwohl wir eine Ferienwohnung gebucht hatten, haben wir am Frühstück in der Pension teilgenommen. Dieses besteht aus frischen Brötchen, verschiedenen Wurst- und Käsesorten, Brotaufstrichen, einer großen Auswahl an Müslis und Cornflakes, frischen Eiern, Obst und so weiter. Da es nur eine kleine Pension ist, muss das Abendessen bereits am Vormittag bestellt werden, wohl damit frisch eingekauft und zubereitet werden kann. Auch hier können wir nur sagen das es sich lohnt. Der Koch versteht sein Handwerk und wir konnten hier z.B. das beste Schnitzel unseres Urlaubs essen.
Der Hof selber liegt sehr ruhig, aber verkehrstechnisch gut angebunden. Man ist schnell am Chiemsee, in Wasserburg oder Rosenheim. Dadurch ist es ein idealer Stützpunkt für Ausflüge aller Art.
