NOT SAFE/Break In
Arrived to check int my apartment, no one on site but a key box, got my key and went to open my room to find 2 lads had broken int the room through the window and completely trashed it, drugs on the floor stinking of weed, no number to call for help or nothing, never stay in this hotel, not safe at all!

Report it! Embarrassing service and cleanliness.
My boyfriend gave me a trip to London for my birthday. Since it was a surprise and at short notice we decided to opt for the structure. Here, let me say it was the worst decision of our lives. First of all, as soon as we open the door you can smell a terrible sewer coming from the toilet drain so much so that we were forced to immediately open the windows with everything that was 2 degrees outside. In addition, we immediately noticed that the towels were dirty and had disgusting yellow stains (photo). I brought it all back to the structure that answers me the next day offering me a change of room that I eventually accept but in reality it never happened. From there the owner disappears. But the icing on the cake came on the evening of the second day when our drunk neighbors disturbed from 10pm to 2am, sometimes even knocking on our door and slamming the doors of the room to annoy. Again, I try to contact the property and eventually, at midnight I call Booking but they too can't get in touch with the owner. We paid for 5 days but in the end after the second we were forced to leave and look for another accommodation. At present (it has been a week) the owner is still unavailable and does not answer my calls or those of Booking. I will take legal action and in the meantime I call on everyone to boycott this facility.

Buyer beware, False Advertising!
I had 2 stays booked with Messina studios. the first was fine-BUT for my second stay, on their bookings they have a policy of no refunds- fine, that is clear. However, It does very clearly say a booking can be rescheduled for free one time, however when I tried to do that they refused even though the new dates were all available, customer service was non existent and they couldn't be bothered to reply to emails. They false advertise that they have this flexibility then refuse to honour their clear policy. Do not book with them if you think in any way you may need to change anything or need customer services in any way. Appalling service.

Ghastly Experience in West Hampstead
At first it appeared nice, clean and comfortable with a good location for my wife and I. Staff (a cleaning lady) had limited English and there was no management per se. No lobby, no coffee room. The room key failed on two or three occasions leaving us unable to access our room. There was no live person we could talk to, merely leave a message and wait for someone to come and re-enable access for our accomodation. Questions about management were met with a shrug and the convenient, "no understand". Finally, on Monday 11 July we arrived back after midnight to find something of a street party outside. A lot of young people making a noise and partying. When I got to the studio door a woman was already there and demanded that I used my code to let her in. She barged passed me to room 6 and others followed her in. They all seem to have rooms and continued their party until beyond dawn. Other guests were screaming at them to shut up and be quiet but they were ignored. One young man became quite aggressive when I asked for some quiet. They all appeared to be on something. I have left various messages and phone calls for management to no avail. No response.

Good for tourists, bad for long stays. Rough around the edges, no reception.
Sort review:
Good for tourism and the option of a kitchen, but not recommend for long stay. The room was clean but mattress, linen, duvet, all had permanent yellow stains. The customer service is poor. Wifi is good. TV is good.
Long review:
The room itself was fine. Looked good, quite new and clean. Small but very well designed. But we had a few situations that made our stay go sour. There was a really bad sewage smell from the beginning because it is a refurbished Victorian house and the pipes couldn’t handle the nine studios. The basement was flooded and also the basement of the neighbours which were talking to the council to get this fix. Unfortunately, we had maintenance works right outside our window for 2 weeks which was very noisy. The mattress, bed linen, duvet and pillows were absolutely disgusting, with yellow stains (the permanent type). The towels for the bathroom were ripped, but clean. As we were near the main door, we had to open everytime someone knocked, like the council, the neighbours, pest control… I mentioned this to the lady on the phone once and she said not to open but it’s kind of awkward when you’re there. The door was very noisy, we had no lights by the bed… this got fixed after two weeks. It was convenient and well located, but they definitely need to improve customer service and get new mattress, new linen, new towels. They did fixed what we asked for, but we were never told when they would come so we just had unexpected visits. They guy who fixed was very nice but still, awkward. The ladies that were taking care of the cleaning of the flats were nice and helpful and did offer us new towels and linen often.
I will add that we were there for 23 days, and we had to work from there. If you’re looking for a place to stay and have a little kitchen but you’re going to go out most of the day, this is an ok place to stay. It can be a bit noisy depending on who’s staying in the other studios, but it’s a good base of operations, but for a long stay, don’t bother.
