Convenient, Spacious But Basic!!.
We stayed here as a Couple and whilst I can’t Disagree with others who are Reviewing THEIR Rooms:
I CAN give opinion on Ours:
It was ROOM-1 and where Overall we had a Pleasant enough ‘Stay’,
Before Our Arrival:
‘Check In’ Instructions were sent via a Text and the Keys were collected via an Exterior ‘Lock-Box’ when we reached the Destination -
All straightforward enough!!,
The Room had 2 Double-Beds and was impressively Large and Spacious giving plenty of Room to Relax and feel Comfortable,
Throughout??,
It was clean enough and relatively well maintained which made a GOOD ‘First-Impression’.
In it’s Entirety?,
It’s an Old Property and Whilst the Décor is certainly ‘Dated’ and fairly Basic:
Everything was perfectly Functional and added to a Simplistic, ‘No-Fuss’ Stay!!,
I would need to say we felt the Bathroom WAS pretty Compact / Rather on the Smallish side allied to the Fact the Shower Pressure’ possibly wasn’t the Strongest,
Although,
With that said?:
It was still perfectly Functional and Hygienic enough!!,
We simply used this Hotel / Guest House as a localised ‘Base’ when Attending a Show in Glasgow…
So,
All-In-All?…
I’d say without it being in any way Salubrious!! -
For our Purposes? It ‘Served’ us pretty well as we had Comfortable ‘Stay’ in a Room with plenty of Space -
I’d suggest this is good enough Value for Money if you’re just looking for something Straightforward, ‘Roomy’ & Pretty Central in Glasgow!,
Would We stay here again?,
Yes!…
We probably would if similarly: We just needed a Quick, Overnight ‘Stop’!!.

Thank goodness it was only overnight
We knew this was not a luxury hotel, but this place at the very bare minimum
The shower curtain in the bathroom was filthy in some cases. The bathroom is outside and shared with other rooms.

Disappointing stay with several safety and cleanliness concerns
Unfortunately, this wasn't a great experience.
When we arrived, there were several people loitering outside the hotel entrance. Around 15 minutes later, as I was heading back out, they asked me to leave the main door open for them. I refused, and although it didn't particularly bother me, I can see how this could feel quite intimidating for other guests, especially those travelling alone.
The room itself was poorly equipped, with no toilet roll, hand soap or bin provided. The mattress also felt uneven, and after checking underneath, I discovered it was being supported by a broken sheet of plasterboard, which was quite concerning.
Throughout the night, our door handle was tried and rattled several times, which made us feel uneasy. Whether it was other guests or someone else, it certainly didn't help us feel secure.
The bathroom was in a poor state. The finishing work looked very rushed, there were hairs left behind from previous guests, and the shower drain barely worked, leaving water pooling while showering.
Overall, this was not the standard I expected. With improvements to cleanliness, maintenance and security, the hotel could be much better, but based on this stay I wouldn't choose to return.

Place is a health hazzard
Booked for an overnight for a theatre show.
Arrived and checked in (or took key from drop box).
The advert on booking.com says that everything is on one floor, not true.
We were unfortunate to be in room 5, with the bathroom being 3 doors along from the room. Both in the basement area. At least it’s not room 3 with the bathroom down a tight twisting staircase to the basement.
The room itself, what can I say. Other than disgusting.
Dirty windows, but at least it partially hid the fact that directly outside the window there was old furniture and broken pallets.
I then notice a bit of week sticking out from under the mattress on one of the beds. Upon lifting the mattress, the divan base had broken and they had screwed a piece of wood onto the divan base, but left a bit overhanging. Very easy to scratch you when walking past.
Above one of the beds is a small shelf with a TV box, right at head level. A head knock opportunity every time you get into or out of bed.
None of the “special” touches promised were there -chocolates, bottles water, and wine glasses. Dining area was the desk.
And it then got worse.
When checking the divan base, the bed moved away from the wall. Behind the bed had not been cleaned in weeks, if not months. There was wallpaper peeling away and missing, and finally a large hole in the floor, probably about 6 inches by 2 inches. Being in the basement, I wouldn’t be surprised if there regular visits from rats or mice.
The lock on the door had previously been forced and a very poor repair completed. If anyone wanted to get it, they would have.
This was all discovered in the first 15 minutes. We then spent the next 10 minutes finding another hotel for the stay.
We tried to contact the host, left voicemails and no response. When we did speak to someone, their attitude was one of we don’t care.
In summary, avoid this like the plague.

Filthy hotel
An accommodation doesn't have to be luxurious, but it can be just clean. Downright filthy hotel. You really don't want to walk on the carpet and you can see there's no vacuuming. The beds were stained. Everything looked so unkempt that we were happy to be able to leave.
