Good bargain & excellent customer service!
For those looking to stay in Aber on a budget, Harley's is a good option. Though some noise is present on nights when the club is open, ear plugs were kindly provided and the windows/walls had better soundproofing than we expected. The room was clean and neat and the hotel is in an excellent & central location. The customer service from Heather was outstanding both before we checked in and during the stay. We encountered a few issues (maintenance issue with water shower pressure and issues with the fire alarm sounding in the night) and she was very communicative, kind, and prompt in addressing these.

Check in was "challenging" in that there was no reception, just a sign on the door with a phone number which was not answered after multiple attempts.
It would appear the main building (downstairs) has recently closed where I assume a check in desk would have been.
A former employee walked past and very kindly stopped and called a myriad of numbers and eventually got through to somone in the hotel who opened the main door.
On entering the building, a birds worth of feathers were at the base of the stairs next to the lock boxes with keys in- not the most welcoming....
Again without the former employee passing by and stopping would have had no idea what code was to access room keys.
A message was received from the hotel thanking me for my visit the day before I arrived on hotels.com app but no other communication.
The room itself was fine for a more budget cost, however the UHT milk was out of date.
I don't usually write reviews but sharing this to encourage future visitors to ensure they make contact with the property and obtain door and lock box codes before arrival.
If it was not for the former employee I would have had to find another hotel as no means of contacting.

The room was clean and amenities provided adequate. Parking is an issue and depends on the availability of an unsupervised pay-and-display car park at a church that is within a 5 minute walk. There is a process to be followed (via codes and lockbox) to gain access to the hotel via a door beside waste bins. Information on this is provided remotely by a helpful staff member, The staff member engaged for this (Heather) was friendly and very helpful over the phone). The hotel is also a nightclub and hence guests need to be aware and prepared for loud music until the early hours on Fridays and Saturdays. (Ear-plugs were provided). The location of the hotel is very convenient for the beach/waterfront and is a short walk from the central area of town.

I wish I spent more time looking at places to stay. I just ended up picking this place. There's no parking for the this place but there parking up the road at the church, the hotel is above the pub which I didn't relaise until I got I message with the details which by then it was to late to cancell without being charged. Entering the building it smelled very bad some musty dusty smell. The room and TV was ok passable. I tell you what is not passable is to be left with out heading all night. I rang the number on the door straight to voicemail, rang the property via hotel.com telephone number not recognised. Messsaged via hotel.com and no response. The pub didn't open until 9pm and close till 3 am I wasn't going to traipse around looking for a staff to get told to contact hotel.com.

almost everything was great, the room was clean, the bed was comfy and i especially liked the self check-in as i’m a bit awkward. However, the room was very cold, even when i had the window, blinds, doors shut and was in the bed under the quilt. Also the toilet didn’t flush unless you pulled the handle quickly, around 15 times. Other then that, it was a great hotel for the weekend, i had a great time!
