A fantastic stay at the King's Crown

Before we went to our friend's birthday at Kongeåkroen, I read some old bad reviews about the inn. I was not happy and thought where we were going and what we were going to experience there. When we got there, we met a friendly owner of the old inn, which was very old, but clean and nice, there was maget room for some good products that you can buy from him. There were flowers, stearin lights...There were many pictures from the old days, pictures of the first owner, his family...You can see the inn, and there it says the year when the pictures were taken. The room with private bathroom had a double bed, it was bright, and clean. We liked their coffee. The food tasted good, perfect. They baked bread themselves, they served homemade ice cream, and we got white wine, red wine and port wine. All the wine tasted good, and waited for us for many years...Port wine from 1983., coffee, tea and chocolate we had in a small living room last night. In the morning we ate a really good breakfast, warm round pieces, and there was everything to everyone's taste. It tasted perfectly and it was arranged nicely on the table. I will come back to Kongeåkroen, enjoy the stay, enjoy the food, and talk to the friendly staff. Thank you very much to our van, and his family and thanks to Kongeåkroen staff. M and M

A somewhat mixed experience

Stayed there for two nights. The good Things first. The food was very good - a bit rural, but good. The rooms were good, but VERY noisy due to heavy traffic just outside the Windows, they ought to install sound reducing glass. The rooms were not too clean either, we found our share of cob-web. Thewaiters in the restaurand were very Young - but able.

Vores ophold var en god oplevelse hvad værelset angik der var ingen servering ud over morgenkaffen som var fin og man kunne få kaffe og is om eftermiddagen
