Very beautiful place.

Very good welcome. Parking in front of the hotel or at the owner's place. Our room was on the 1st floor with a splendid view of the lake. Good bedding. Very good breakfast. We had room 1, however it has many windows compared to the others. We wake up at 6:00 AM. Too bad they weren't blackout curtains.

Great value and friendly staff

Stayed here with my friend for only one night but it was well worth the money. We only paid £37 and it came with an amazing view of the lake. You literally walked out the room and there it was. It was a short walk to the town too.
It came with breakfast which was brought to your room. It was really nice and you get to eat it while you’re looking at the view.
Really good value for money and the staff were so friendly. I’d definitely stay again.

Great B&B, family run, hospitable, good breakfast, good value

Clean modern rooms with a balcony overlooking Lake Shkoder. Very friendly and helpful receptionist/owner. Great breakfast that can be eaten on the balcony overlooking Lake Shkoder. Access is a little poor by gravel road up a steep incline but not insurmountable (Google maps gives the wrong direction). Very good value for money and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Hidden Gem

It was a stroke of luck that we found this hotel. We stopped at a hotel on the promenade and asked for the rates. At $70 per room, we decided that this was too expensive (by Albanian standards), declined and left to go to the next hotel. As I was looking up hotels, I saw this one. At about the same time, a waiter at the place we just left ran out to us. He told us that his wife ran a beautiful little hotel that we should try. It was called Four Generations. He called, the rate was $70 for the 2 rooms with breakfast. It was up on the hill looking out over the water. We went up there and she greeted us with coffee and a smile. The rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped with a full private bathroom incl a shower WITH doors. The views were amazing. The bed cozy and comfortable. When you’re ready for breakfast, just press a button. She delivered an appetizing full, filling, fresh breakfast. We would definitely stay in this hotel (B&B?) again.
