Beautiful oasis of traditional old Swedish architecture and old-world charming hospitality

Vasatorps Matalogi is simply delightful. It was our last night in Skåne visiting family and friends (which is nice - but also exhausting), and after 1500km+ of driving in one week - this was the perfect place for a last night stop over. Eva is a lovely host - and makes quite possibly the best breakfast in the whole of Sweden (she even gave me a souvenir jar of her delicious home made marmalade I went so wild over it).
The accommodation is beautiful. Practical, clean and comfortable but with lovely Gustavian architectural touches.
All the more impressive considering they built it themselves!
This is not your 'run of the mill' stop over hotel with wifi and streaming videos from oversized televisions on the wall. If you want that - there are thousands of bland hotel rooms across the country that will cater for it.
This is an experience. It's a feast for the eyes. We have a strong sense for detail and every time we looked over a room - we found something new and exciting to see.
If you want authentic Skåne - you will struggle very hard indeed to find better.
Whilst we were there - Eva recommended us the small and charming harbour town Råå - which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Excellence in the countryside

Vasatorp Matologi offers a secluded and relaxed atmosphere with their two rooms available. Fantastic hospitality and quality in the breakfast offering local (both from the area as well as the garden) products. Freshly picked raspberries and mull berries for instance.
If you are looking for a nice and quiet stay on your way through Sweden or visiting Helsingborg this is a must to stay at!

Quaint, pet friendly, countryside living

A nice little secluded farmhouse with 2 rooms located just 10 minutes from Helsingborg.
If you want peace and quiet and nice surroundings this is definitely the place you want to spend your night.
Breakfast is served in the main building and consists of locally produced items and offers everything you want for a solid start of the day.
The owners are very friendly and helpful and makes the stay perfect.
This accommodation is also pet friendly!

Lugn plats med fantastiskt mysiga rum :)

Lugn miljö, fantastiska sängar!! Varm och personlig atmosfär och frukosten var underbart god och hade lagats med kärlek
Detta ska vi rekommendera till vänner och familj och kommer gärna tillbaka!
Vi kom hit på cykel och nära att cykla in på 30 min till Helsingborg :)

Ögonfröjd och njutning

Bokade detta med kort framförhållning. Missade avfarten då vi tittade på en sagolik vacker skånegård - som visade sig vara stället vi bokat in oss på. För oss som tycker om vackra hus och byggnadsvård var detta en pärla med glans. En svag doft av linoljefärg och vackra färgkombinationer gick rakt in i hjärtat. Då vi inte ätit fick vi förmånen att bli inbjudna på middag hos värdinnan som visade sig vara en mästarinna på matlagning med egenodlade och närproducerade råvaror. Herrejösses så vi njöt. Du som gillar kvalitet i form, färg och smak ska inte missa detta ställe. Rekommenderas å det varmaste.
(Hunden var också välkommen vilket var ett stort plus)
