French charm

This was a simply charming hotel in the most perfect position, just moments from the Opera.
My room was a very generous size, complete with a desk and seating area, yet still spacious enough to open my suitcase fully on the floor and move around comfortably. The queen-sized bed was incredibly comfortable, and the entire room felt warm, inviting and wonderfully cosy.
The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a proper large walk-in shower (not the typical French step-over bathtub) and a generous vanity.
I also loved having two large windows overlooking the street, which added to the atmosphere and charm.
Breakfast was included, plentiful and delicious — the perfect start to each day.
I genuinely loved everything about my stay and will absolutely return.

BED BUGS IN ROOM!!!

I had a very disappointing and unacceptable experience at Maison Orphée in Paris.
On the night of our check-in, we returned to our room around 1:30 AM only to discover bed bugs on the mattress and headboard. This was shocking and extremely distressing.
We immediately went down to reception to report the issue. Unfortunately, the staff member on duty showed no urgency or concern. He simply said he would pass the message to the manager the next morning. No immediate action was taken, no alternative room was offered (we were told none were available), and no assistance was provided in finding another hotel.
What was most concerning was the lack of basic responsibility. Instead of asking us to leave the infested room for our safety—since bed bugs spread easily—we were essentially expected to spend the night there as if this were normal. This is absolutely not acceptable.
With no support from the hotel, my husband and I had no choice but to leave at 2:00 AM and walk the streets looking for another place to stay in the middle of the night.
The staff’s reaction felt cold and dismissive, almost as if they were already aware of the issue and did not consider it serious. Bed bugs are a major hygiene and health concern, and the hotel clearly failed to prioritize guest safety.
At least, they refunded our stay, and we checked into another hotel afterward.

Very nice central Paris hotel

very nice hotel in a central location. rooms are generously big for central Paris. only criticism is there is no bar but there are lots of possibilities on the streets around. i recommend !

A charming address in the heart of the capital

A very well placed hotel, recently renovated with taste.
The street is very quiet: no noise while we are in the middle of Paris!...

New hotel

The hotel is new. The whole interior. The room is cozy, beautiful. The pillows are very soft, like I like. A blanket. There was extra heating as it was cold outside in December before Christmas. That's a decent breakfast. Nice location. We walked to many places of interest. Louvre, Notre Dame, Rodin's estate. Opera and Lafayette are nearby.
Hotel on a quiet street. Price quality is consistent. We were pleased.
