Stop over worth stopping for!

We loved our stay at the Weingut Sandweise Winzerhotel! It was used as a stopover enroute to Austria to ski. It was very accessible from the autobahn, and had a good parking lot for the night. We arrived late due to traffic, but had a welcoming phone call from the hotel before we arrived to double check our time for arrival. They also held a table for us at the restaurant, in which dinner and the wine were excellent! The family room we had was clean, spacious and comfortable, with a large bathroom and storage space for bags and clothes. We enjoyed the breakfast the next morning, and purchase of some wine before leaving. All staff were extremely friendly, helpful and kind and we can't wait to get back!

Well-kept but remote

Very clean hotel , nice spacious rooms and relatively quiet location.
The hotel also has a nice wine bar and restaurant.
Restaurant is not self-managed which you do not notice, the communication runs flawlessly. The food is deliciously fresh, the salad as you are used to them in Germany nice and crispy.
Breakfast was extensive and tasty with several coffee's.
For us 1 night fine.
Downside we found that you can not walk somewhere cozy, in the vicinity is really nothing except Schloss Herrnsheim. This is being renovated by the way.
Worms is 8 kilometers away and for the wine freaks the GG wineries are all within nice distance.

a little outside of Worms, if the restaurant is full, you have to drive again

Very large room for wheelchair users (we weren't). Unfortunately the restaurant was occupied by a group of people, it would have been nice to have informed them in advance, email was known. Otherwise there is nothing negative to report. The breakfast buffet was good.

Just out of town,quiet

This is a beautifully located hotel. Beautiful views of the owner's vine yards.
Our room overlooked wonderful array of fruit trees.Our room was large with super large bed,bathroom with walkin shower (essential for my mobility impaired wife).
Added attraction is a restaurant with super choice of menu. Food of course washed down with hotel's own wine !! Restaurant also had a beautiful garden .We were lucky with weather and dined outside. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great hotel

Our German friends who live in Worms booked us in for 3 nights.
We were very happy with the spacious room. We also had a meal with our friends and we really enjoyed the food and dining outside was also nice.
Would recommend this .
