A fabulous retreat in Devon!
Millmans holiday cottages absolutely surpassed all expectations. We stayed for 4 nights in Lily Cottage and had the most relaxing time. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and shown our cottage nice and quick - the weather was warm so the doors and windows had been left open which I thought was really thoughtful!
The welcome hamper was a fabulous touch, and the place was spotlessly clean. The pool area is lovely and lily cottage has a private little garden and patio as well - so made for really relaxing evenings!
The cottages are 10 minutes from the beach and there is a small shop with the basics just a short stroll away. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever visiting friends in Devon again.

A gem in the heart of Devon
We booked a two night stay in the Lily cottage, we received a warm welcome from the owner on arrival. The cottage exceeded our expectations and the neat touches from the welcome pack to the amenities was refreshing to see. Very peaceful and quite area. The cottage was well maintained, very clean and served us well during our short stay.
Highly recommended and would consider a further stay in the future.

Excellent
We stayed in lilac, very well equipped lovely comfy cottage. The welcome packs are a very nice touch.
The owners are very friendly and made our dog feel very welcome to, with dog bowl's provided.
The garden is well kept and is a sun trap with a pool to cool off in, we will definitely be back.

Fabulous relaxing cottage is quiet area with good links to Torbay
Visited the cottages for a week. The location is very quiet and a great place to relax.
The cottage we were in (Rose) was well kitted out and very comfortable. There was a lovely welcome treats on our arrival, bread, milk, tea, coffee, butter etc.
The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and make it a very enjoyable stay.
There is off road parking.
There are a couple of local pubs nearby if you want to eat out, both in walking distance.
There is also a bus service a few minutes walk away if you want to give driving a break that will take you to Paignton bus station (next to the train station).
There is a lovely well kept garden at the rear of the cottages that has an outdoor swimming pool, some outdoor games, sun loungers, a fabulous place to relax.
We found the location great for exploring the area which included Brixham, Torquay, Teignmouth, Dawlish, Dawlish Warren, Plymouth, Kingswear, Dartmouth, Totnes.
Found a cracking beach with good facilities at Broadsands, about a 15 minute drive.
Look forward to visiting again.

The Stars speak for themselves
Warm and friendly welcome. Felt at home right away with spotless Primrose Cottage, with a lovely welcome basket and flowers plus some necessities in the fridge.
Cottage was well fitted out, everything we needed and efficient heating for a few colder evenings. Beds very comfortable, plenty of bedding and pleasantly quiet environment for a great night's sleep.
The cottage was a very clever blend of modern amenities while retaining a rustic charm in decor - we loved it!
Situation is good with a nice garden and access to major routes.
If there was anything substandard, I would say so but there was not and we would recommend Millman's with confidence and will very likely return next time we need to come to the area. Deserves 5 stars from us!
