DON´T

i ve been 2 months living here paying 75 per week for a shared room which is not precisely cheap. Dirty place. Room was not clean when we moved in and the owner did not do anything about it, very old furnishing, the toilets are very noisy u can hear them all from your own room. During the weekends the bar opens till late and makes lots of noise.Wholes in the walls. Unfriendly staff. Unable to use the kitchen. WIFI not working properly.
Dont stay here.

Good stop off on walk back from Newquay

Called in as we were staying at the top end of Pentire and were walking back from Newquay.
Friendly guy behind the bar, double gin/tonic with a pint for £7.50 so fairly reasonable for Newquay. Place just had locals in and not many at that... but it was an experience.
Large decked area on the back with views to Fistral.
The place looked closed, but if the sign says Open they are.
Dog friendly.

Carlos what's an outstanding front of house Barmouth b local that coming this pub are friendly and make everyone welcome the outside smoking area is very comfortable with cushions heating and lighting with an outstanding rear beer garden this is my second visit to this location and I would have recommended for all ages to locals in particular a Dude called Kevin and one called Mark was very helpful reference surfing we also spoke about my time in Fort Aventura and barley and also Africa and people like this in a pub eating zone got a very rare find also to be asked without prejudice would you like a game of pool buy a couple of other locals the food is good the value it's good and the price of drinks is excellent and the choice of wine is unbelievable you must not look at the book by its cover because my my you shall be surprised and having a front house person such as Carlos who just brings out all the white wine and goes very well so which one would you like I recommend it 100%

Friendly

Ive got to live in Newquay long ago and the first place ive lived by myself was Offshore actually backpackers at that time. great views, nice people incharge so i felt great :) the kitchen was way too small but still fine!
