Amazing view and incredible hospitality
I stayed at Hotel Queen with group of friends in September 2017 and came back during my trip to Georgia in May 2018. It was the first place we stayed during our first visit to Georgia with group of friends and I was unable to resist to visit it again. Even after my second trip to Georgia Hotel Queen remains for me the most memorable place in Georgia. The rooms are nice and spacious with all amenities you need, delicious breakfast. The location is perfect – just few steps from Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and the center of Mtskheta town. The view from the balcony is the best in town I am sure! But the main thing what makes this place the most beautiful and unforgettable is the owner of the place David. His hospitality is unlimited, his knowledge of history and interesting facts about Georgia and his home town Mtskheta is surprising and inspires you to learn even more about this beautiful country and it’s people. And in addition to that Dato’s wonderful sense of humor makes you feel like you met a good friend whom you did not see for a long time. Oh, I must mention that he makes the best shashlyk I have ever tried and also he makes very good wine. I would recommend hotel Queen to all travelers who wish not only to see Georgia, but also to know Georgian people better, to experience their hospitality, their warmth and heartiness. I will definitely come back again!

Nice location
This is a house, I can’t understand why they called themselves a hotel. Is in the compound area of Mtskheta where all houses are fenced. Arrived around 3 o’clock in the afternoon our room wasn’t ready, they told us to come back in an hour.
We came back at 4 o’clock and we got the room. The room is upstairs, going up in a small spiral stairway wasn’t easy if carrying a luggage
We normally booked a deluxed room, however the owner let us choose a room with one bed and a room with two beds.
We choose the room with two beds ( twin). Is a very old room with an ugly interior. The room is airconditioned and had a free wifi available which is really fast. There is an old cupboard in the room where the telvision stand on top it.
The bathroom is a disaster. The shower spray is connected to a lavabo faucet, no shower cabin if someone taking a shower, water all over the floor
The only advantage of the room is the balcony. You have a nice view of the Javri monastery and the cathedral. Also the location is close to the main sight area of Mtskheta
You can walk around without using the car. Plenty of restaurants nearby, and there is a supermarket next door
The room is cheap for 28 US dollars a night, is good for a short stay and if you don’t mind the messy bathroom this place is good especially the location. There is a private car park outside.
The owners don’t speak English so is an adventure to understand with each other.
Going to the room you pass the owners home, you don’t have a complete privacy. There is a breakfast included in the room rate serves from 9 am, same as other hotels in Georgia is just simple morning food.

Шикарный гест хаус! Отзывчивый хозяин Дато! Шикарные завтраки. Отличное место! Всем советуем очень! Кто хочет отдыхать в Грузии, только все к нему! Он вам сделает отдых незабываемым! Напитки берите только у Дато, проверено, вкуснее не найдёте!

Výborně ubytování v centru
Velmi dobře ubytování blízko staré části města. V domě tří pokoje s koupelnou. Terasa, zahrada. Klidné místo, pohodový majitel, dobře snídaně. V blízkosti hlavní třída s restauracemi. Dobre zajít na jídlo pri hlavní silnici .

БЕЗУПРЕЧНАЯ ГРУЗИЯ У ДАТО
Удивлена, что об этом отеле и хозяине Дато на трипадвайзор нет ни слова. Зайдите на букинг, если моего отзыва будет недостаточно, обязательно почитайте. Останавливались в этом отеле группой вегетарианцев. Готовили сами. Дато предлагал и свои угощения - очень вкусное вино, сам жарил рыбу, мясо, овощи, накрывали стол в его секретном подвале. отель в центре Мцхеты, из балконов открываются шикарнейшие виды на Светицховели, Джвари. Территория утопает в зелени. Хозяин отзывчивый, душевный, гостеприимный, за плечами громадный жизненный опыт и много разных историй. Только что даже специально открыла на букинге фото, чтобы в очередной раз вспомнить свое теплое путешествие в Мцхету и в саму Грузию. Спасибо Вам, Дато!
