Wonderful lunch

After a mountain tour, we stopped for lunch at the Seehotel Lilly restaurant.
Wonderfully located right on the water, friendly, attentive service and wonderful food.
Our dog was also provided with a bowl of water.
We will definitely be back.

DONT EAT HERE ! RUDE STAFF !

THIS REVIEW CONCERNS THE REATAURANT ASSOCIATED WITH THE HOTEL.
NO , we did not eat here. We got off the ferry in Stobl and started walking towards town when we noticed the terrace restaurant of the hotel. When we approached the restaurant , we didn’t see a menu and started to walk through to the other entrance. Having spotted a menu on the table , we stopped to look at the menu when a young gentleman approached us and immediately said - this is not a self service restaurant and my husband said I am just taking a quick look at the menu as we would like to have lunch - the same surely young man said , you can’t take the menu - again my husband said I’m just taking a look and again a nasty attitude and my husband put the menu down and told the young man that he was rude and we wouldn’t be eating at the restaurant.

Service treat us as invisible people

No experience of the hotel but we did have dinner in the restaurant and we did choose to sit indoors and only one more table had guests, took about 15 min for us to have a menu and we did ask for the winemenu and was presented with a drinkmenu of only wine by the glass and I did read that if we want wine by the bottle please ask for the whole winemenu which took another 10 min before it did arrive. We did order a bottle of Austrian Red wine which was ok and we both did eat local fish both fresh and good. As we did sit inside and saw that there was table just outside our table overlooking Lake Wolfgang we asked if we after our meal could reserv a table there for additional drinks we were told no reservation was possible there, and as i do understand most folks sitting there just with one beer I was surprised that they could not give us a table there as one of the few paying guest actually spending money on food and wine! Food was I told fresh and good but service was almost invisible! This was almost the only place opened on a Wednesday in May or other 3 places we wanted to visited had Ruhetag (Closed on wednesdays) Very quite little town!

Seehotel Lilly

A lovely hotel, the staff is very kind and nice, the suite with an amazing view of the lake and mountains, excellent location. Delicious breakfast. We really enjoyed the hotel and the service.
Next to the hotel public parking so no problem to park your car.

Restaurant for lunch

Delicious excellent food and helpful service. Delicious fish from the Fuchs See, Weiner schnitzel, steak and curry chicken. All a big hit with our family. Location lovely overlooking the Wolfgang see.
