Horrible experience. No power or even fan overnight. Shower broken. Not even enough bath tissue. One of the worst experiences in my 25 years of traveling. I would not stay here. I believe there is power cuts aka load shedding but overnight Stay with no ac or even fan in hot summer is a punishment. We messed up our vacation plan deprived of sleep

Attention to detail!

My stay in Philae hotel was excellent. I went to the hotel by chance and from the moment i stepped it, I was welcomed. The hotel stuff will make everything possible to make sure you enjoy your stay. From the clean rooms, the fresh breakfast to helping you in anything you need while in Aswan. They make sure every small detail is perfect. That is what I really appreciated it.

Exceptional

Exceptional. By far the best hotel we have had in Egypt. Clean, great location and with exemplary staff you can trust them with your eyes closed. We thank them for their hospitality and for all their attention and strongly advise you to choose it because after being scammed by a fake hotel this establishment literally saved our stay in Aswan.

Convenient and comfortable with Nile views

Comfortable 2-room suite for 5 (even with a pull out bed) with a great location, wonderful Nile view porches, and a really nice breakfast.
Our suite had two bathrooms, and one had hot water while the other didn’t. Also, there was no elevator (I’m unsure if there is one and it wasn’t working or there just wasn’t one), but they helped carry our bags upstairs.
Very friendly staff, held our bags for the day before check in.
