No frills no thrills at CiTTy hotel

The CiTTy hotel is located near the motorway exit at schweinfurt and finds itself in a industrial area outside the city center. Very affordable with well designed and clean rooms it provides a quick stopover and a comfortable bed. Having woken up and enjoyed the excellent shower the breakfast completes the positive experience. So, no frills no thrills yet an overall great stay.

For price - PERFECT

The hotel is just few minutes from the city center, was very easy to find it. Room was ok, also the bathroom - just little small, but the standard. However, the reception lady told us that we can have breakfest in the next day (9 euro), and there is no requirement to order it in the previous day. However, In the morning (at 9 am), there was no breakfest at all and the guy at the reception told us that we must order it in the previous day... so little chaotic. However, few meters from hotel was bakery, so in the end we had cheaper breakfest - but, it was just chaos in the reception.

Nightmare Stay

The property is in the middle of a busy industrial area. You can't see that from the pictures. It's not really nice to look at. There is a night club down the street that you don't realize is there until you hear the music booming literally ALL NIGHT. We were there on a Friday night. They finally stopped at 5:00 am and then the trucks started rolling out! We had no way to escape the noise because it was so hot that we had to leave the window open.
The staff is very friendly. The room was small, but clean. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they're the type that can sleep through anything.

Typical friendly German hotel

Nice and clean hotel with a friendly service
The rooms are clean, spacious and dispose of everything you need , with the exception
of enough power supply. There was no power supply next to the bed , an important aspect for me
The service in the restaurant is excellent , the choice is small but it is delicious

It's alright for a good sleep, but nothing more.

The hotel is not in an ideal place, it's at the edge of the town, near to shops and industrial areas.
The hotel room has bathroom, TV (only German channels), free wifi and a comfortable bed. The room was quiet, I couldn't hear any annoying noises.
The breakfast was fine but the range is very poor (no vegetables for example).
The hotel does not have any entertainment or wellness facilities.
It's ideal fot short stays to have some good sleep for the price but nothing more.
