Relaxing vacation with first-class service *TOP*

Friendly, unique staff, excellent food, great location, rooms a bit older but clean and a bit warm in the summer temperatures, the lake view in the evening makes up for everything!!! Breakfast is good, could be more varied, white sausages should be warm, the morning paper on the tables is great,

Not maintained at all. Good staff

Good service. But hotel is not maintained.
We have spent 2 nights in the hotel. See view room. The sleeping area is ok. But the cupboard space is enough for 1 person for max 2 nights. Bathroom. Is so small that you can get claustrophobia and with rast and damages. I recommend not take take a room on the 3rd floor right side. They have an air cleaning system for the restaurant above the rooms. Until 10pm you will hear a disturbing voice. Parking. A mess. A real mess. Staff is though very friendly but obvious that that the owner does not want to invest in this place just take money out. No air condition. No water served daily in the room though claimed as 4 star. Cleaning only every 2 nd. Day. Though you can ask extra to clean. Wellness. Very simple. But there are no fresh towels. Nothing. Again not about the staff but the ownership and management of the hotel.

Top location

The location is top, incl. Lake access, staff friendly and helpful, a few weaknesses that can be fixed, but I do not see 4 stars, rather 3+

Beautiful relaxing spot on the lake.
Very good breakfast buffet.
Clean rooms with lake view.
No sandy beach. You have to take a ladder into the water.
Unfortunately no air conditioning. So on hot days it’s not very comfortable in the room.
Otherwise great place.

Beautiful venue - watch the small print.

This hotel commands a fantastic location on the banks of the Berg. The staff are friendly and accommodating if not worldly wise. The Spa facilities are minimal but adequate for the paying guests. We had the same menu for the two nights we stayed, which was disappointing, and beware that you get charged if you want to switch out on your menu choice. My husband asked to swap his fries for sauté potatoes (already an accompaniment to another dish on the menu, and we were charged €2.50. Whilst that is insignificant when our group spent over €400 each night, it was the principle. Apparently it said it on the menu but it was all in German! This seems churlish to charge for a swap and somewhat tarnished our experience of dining here.

Dear Nicky,
It is wonderful to hear that you appreciated our unique location directly on the lake and the friendly and helpful service of our team. We will gladly pass on your kind words regarding cleanliness, room comfort, and sleep quality to the relevant departments.
We understand that your impression of the restaurant was somewhat dampened by the repeated menu choices and the additional charge for changing side dishes. Especially when guests are staying for an extended period, culinary variety is an important part of a successful stay. We take your feedback regarding the transparency and clarity of the additional charges very seriously – particularly concerning the language used in the menu. Feedback like yours helps us to better cater to the needs of our international guests.
We greatly appreciate your honest and insightful comments, as they provide valuable starting points for our continuous improvement. We hope that you were able to enjoy your stay overall despite the points mentioned and would be delighted to welcome you back again someday.
Sincerely,
Your Team at Seehotel Leoni
