An evening of folk music

There is also music here, and we go to the Alpenrose every now and then. The staff is very attentive. It is indeed very busy. The food is good, and one can have a pleasant evening here.

Excellent service for a family birthday event.

We enjoyed our 5-night stay with extended family for a birthday celebration. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the food was very good. with plentiful portions. The bedroom was comfortable and well -equipped with coffee machine and mini-fridge. Cleanliness throughout was excellent, which is challenging in such an old building. It was quiet although centrally located within easy walking distance of station, supermarkets and beautiful countryside.

Very good restaurant with delicious food

We were there after the Christmas Day with six people for dinner. It was really crowded in the restaurant but the staff tried to get us on the first floor without registration another table. A young waitress picked up the drinks and then it went to the food. We were all very pleased with the food taste and also the staff was very friendly despite high visitor numbers. We can recommend the Alpenrose if you are in Mittenwald.

Never again Alpine rose

Promises to be able to choose a table if you show up in time would be discarded with the note that the boss has decided otherwise.
We two 68-year-olds would be assigned a mini table in front of a door between two partitions where we should have squeezed in. We declined this and were offered a table as a replacement in the Josefikeller, where mostly guests with dogs are accommodated.Just because we had already paid 100 €, we agreed, but did not feel comfortable. And that at a price of 79€ per person plus drinks for the menu.
We will never go there again.
