Another great overnight stop for the weary traveller....

Excellent overnight accommodation on a cycle tour, bike safely stored, dinner and breakfast superb, staff friendly and efficient.
Definitely recommend....

Beware of scammers!

Beware of rip-off artists! They don't stick to agreements. We booked two rooms for two cousins. The booking confirmation didn't show the two extra beds for the children and I asked by phone whether the children were included in the total price. "Yes, everything is included in the price." On the day of departure, 100 euros more was charged, supposedly for the children's beds. 2 nights, 2 children for 20 euros each. In our opinion, that's 80 euros. So why would they just charge 100 euros even though everything had been clarified beforehand?
To avoid having to deal with people like that any more, we were able to agree on 40 euros, which we got back afterwards because the cousins had each paid for their rooms separately.
Be careful and get everything confirmed in writing!! We definitely advise against booking!!!

Simple and comfortable

This is a traditional German accomodation. The front of the inn serves as check-in desk, neighborhood pub and restaurant. Furnished with family touches including family photographs, but done just right! My single room was comfortable and clean with adequate closet space. The bathroom was quite modern and a great shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was an extra fee of 5 Euro and included meats, cheese, breads and yogurt. The only negative is that there was no internet service available.
You are near a monestary and the church bells ring hourly. No problem for me, but others may find it distracting for sleep.

Nie wieder Hamminkeln

Ein Hotel ist ein Beherbergungsbetrieb, in dem eine Rezeption, Dienstleistungen, tägliche Zimmerreinigung, zusätzliche Einrichtungen und mindestens ein Restaurant für Hausgäste und Passanten angeboten werden. Ein Hotel sollte über mehr als 20 Gästezimmer verfügen. 3 Sterne an der Tür für die Gasthaus . Meist werden die Zimmer weit unter 20 für Monteure genutzt die dann laut auf dem Balkon die Bier Feierabende feiern. Tägliche Reinigung - alle zwei Tage aus angeblich ökologischer Sicht. Renovierungsstau , fehlende Türgriffe an Badzimmertüren , starke Kalkverschmutzung , wackelige Ablagen im Bad, Dusche ohne Abtrennung, durch die Fenster zieht es . Handtuchwechsel und Reinigung obwohl besprochen werden nicht durchführt, und auf erneuter Nachfrage dann Handtücher geliefert, die ich nicht mehr tragbar sind. Frühstück ,Essen und Preise sind okay. Vielleicht eins noch Stadt Hamminkel, besteht aus 7 Dörfern die weit verteilt eine Stadt bilden, wer es mag, Zuhause bei Hoffmann liegt in Dingden.- aber dafür kann dei Familei Hoffmann nichts, das ist eher ein Schildbürgerstreich der Stadt Hamminkeln.

Günstig!

Das familiäre Hotel ist modern und praktisch eingerichtet, die Zimmer großzügig und die Kirchturmuhr wird um 22.00 Uhr abgestellt!
Im Restaurant schmeckt das rustikale Essen und das König Ludwig-Weißbier.
