The Orania is probably the best city hotel we’ve ever stayed at. We had a beautiful room with huge windows with a view of Oranienplatz, and it was squeaky clean and remarkably quiet. AC worked well. Gorgeous bathroom/shower. The staff were friendly and helpful. And the breakfast (to-order plus buffet) was delicious. A beautiful luxurious retreat during our visit to Berlin.
Multiple nice cafés and bars nearby. If you don’t know Berlin well, be advised that while the immediate hotel surroundings are lovely, the street intersection of the closest U-Bahn stop, Kotbusser Tor, is gritty and chaotic and you should be prepared for urine smell. We liked to walk to Moritzplatz to catch the U-Bahn instead when it worked out.

This was our third stay at Orania. Excellent the first, second and third time! The staff is super helpful, the food delicious, great live music and convenient to public transportation. The rooms have beautiful warm wood accents, roomy bathrooms and a terrific shower.

Amazing experience...the room was perfect, sympathetically maintaining the original features whilst embracing modernity.
Every single member of staff from housekeeping to reception, to bar to restaurant were friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to ensure we had an excellent stay.

Delightful hotel and great experience. The staff were exemplary. So helpful. The room felt unique. Lovely touches and attention to detail. The downstairs lounge and bar area was both relaxing and inviting. Would happily book the hotel again
