Really great hotel.
Staff helpful and an amazing breakfast selection.
Only disappointment is the tea and coffee in the room. Instant coffee.

Quite ok for 1 night but nothing special
I really quickly needed a hotel for 1 night in Reading and booked Pentahotel the same day I checked-in due to a pretty discounted rate.
Check-in was quick, receptionist was friendly.
Room was spacious but definitely needed some renovation and refurbishment (just like the whole property, in fact).
Double bad was comfy but sleeping quality was low due to busy road outside.
Breakfast was included in my rate but food selection was modest. I would also recommend the others to come for breakfast earlier as there is more food to choose from.
I don’t think I will choose Pentahotel Reading in the future but as a 1-night experience it was quite ok…

Cool hotel with a great games area around the bar. Shame the pinball wasn't fully working but the rest great. Food pretty good . Bedrooms roomy with a massive bed.

The hotel is generally fine but the rooms are very tired and there were no proper curtains so I was awake at 4:30am with the sunrise. Also no or terrible air con so it was incredibly hot and stuffy. Terrible night's sleep. The bar area is cool and the staff were lovely.

Great property to stay in, had no issues at all and would recommend to anyone, especially those travelling on business to the area.
