Superb accommodation- highly recommended

The Old Vicarage is like a comfy pair of old slippers. It’s full of character, friendly and welcoming. Bob is a host that gets people, you feel at home, at ease and welcomed. Rooms are great, location for powderham castle is excellent and the breakfast is superb

Friendly and welcoming B and B

Lovely rooms and beautiful historic house. The host was very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was lovely and plenty to eat.
We were here for a wedding in Powderham. Heads up. No taxi services available unless you want to pay £30 to travel 2 miles as they have to come from Exeter.

A must to stay at if in Exeter

A wonderful place to stay. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and with all the expected facilities. Breakfasts are superb, and the hosts are extremely helpful. The location is peaceful, yet only a short drive to central Exeter. This is a boutique experience that is very highly recommended.

Have stayed here a couple of times when visiting in the area and would not now stay anywhere else. Friendly, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast, comfortable beds and attentive owners make staying here a pleasure in a quiet, safe elegant home.

A great weekend away

Bob and Jane are fantastic, friendly hosts who really care about their guests.
The old vicarage is a lovely quaint building set in lovely grounds.
Comfortable room and a great breakfast cooked by Bob.
We shall be returning and would recommend
