Brilliant value great room and cosy. Good selection of beers and wines. More importantly the dinner was amazing the breakfasts absolutely fantastic. Was a pleasure to eat here. Great location quick into York if you’re driving and plenty of free parking. Able choices of local pubs and restaurants. Nice walks and close to Thirsk and the surrounding areas

Easingwold is a superb rural Yorkshire town set in the Vale of York. The George Hotel is the jewel in the crown of Easingwold. I can't fault it at all. The staff, the accommodation, the food especially the breakfasts were all amazing. The atmosphere in the bar was lively, friendly and very popular.

Nice clean room, shame about stopping serving food at 1900hrs on Sunday; BUT a massive shout out - I left my sunglasses in my room and the staff posted them back home to me within 24 hours! That’s service!!

An old country inn hotel located in the town centre. The rooms were of a basic standard with somewhat tired decor. The bed quite small and room stuffy. It wasn't a bad experienc, but one we will likely not repeat. The restaurant was good with a tasty evening meal (paid separately), and a lovely breakfast - probably the most enjoyable part of our trip.

Slightly ‘quirky’ in a delightful way. Very friendly welcoming staff, lively pub with great atmosphere, good choices for breakfast and dinner. Altogether a great stay!
