Family Ski trip in April.
Hotel is in a quiet spot with lovely views out the windows. A nice walk down to the village in the mornings but would recommend renting ski storage nearer the lifts as we found it a bit of a trek back to the hotel at the end of the day. If we return to Lech we would definitely stay here again!

Outstanding
Everything about our stay was just about perfect. From the moment we walked through the door to be greeted by the charming and cosy Tyrolian decor we could sense that there was something welcoming and charismatic about the place. Our rooms were very large and very comfortable; in fact ours was an apartment complete with a second bedroom, kitchenette and self-catering facilities so we could make our own drinks and snacks. The bathroom also had a bath which is always welcome on a ski holiday.
I used the wellness facilities a couple of times and whilst there isn’t a pool, the sauna and steam room are very good.
The bar and restaurant area is cosy and tasteful. We found the food to be excellent. There is the usual choice of meats, cheeses, yoghurts at breakfast as well as cooked options. Dinner is a choice of a couple of main courses as well as starters, soups, salad and desserts. My plate was always clean.
The staff are extremely friendly and you can tell they take great pride in their service. Thank you to everyone for looking after us!
One more thing, for what is supposed to be an ‘expensive’ resort, I found the price of drinks here to be much lower than France and the Hotel bar is very reasonable in that respect. So overall this was exceptional value for money.

Lovely intimate hotel with consistently good food, well located for skiing.
It is a cosy, intimate hotel. The staff are polite and friendly, especially the Manager.
Our room was very spacious with lots of storage space. It had an excellent bathroom with bath and shower. It was kept immaculately clean and tidy as was the entire hotel.
We really enjoyed the food every night. It was always of a consistently high standard as were the breakfasts. I recommend both the Red and the White house wines which can be bought by the glass. They were very enjoyable at a good price. The hotel also has a good choice of other wines.
The ski room is clean and spacious and has heated boot warmers. It is well located near the hotel lift.
The hotel is in a quiet location about 5 minutes walk from the resort centre, the ski rental shops and Cable Car station which connects to the rest the Arlberg ski area. Recent improvements to the lift system now make it easy for most intermediate skiers to ski over to St.Anton and back in a day without needing to take a bus. There is even a Ski Route from Zürs (171 & 173) that brings you back to the front door of the hotel.
If I come back to Lech, I would stay at the Bergheim again!
